Definition of Worship
At Church on the Mountain, we believe that our lives are defined by our individual worship that occurs throughout the week. We celebrate that bond together each Sunday when we worship as a community of believers. It is a privilege to worship our Creator and King each week as we express our love and adoration of Him through music, prayer, service, communion, fellowship, and the teaching and application of God’s word.

Purpose of Worship
Worship at Church on the Mountain is done for the purpose of giving God the glory and honor He alone deserves and is worthy of. We hope that in every aspect of our worship services God is pleased and our people are encouraged to live godly lives worthy of their calling.

About Worship Music
Exalting Jesus Christ through music is meant to inspire the praise of His people as well as prepare their hearts for the proclamation of His word. We hope that the music played in each of our two services, whether traditional or contemporary in style, will accurately depict the character and attributes of God as found in His word.
